October: The Security Awareness Month

October is the National Security Awareness Month, and the month raises awareness about the importance of security. During the pandemic, Covid-19, working from home has become a reality for many of us and digital services are increasing. So are the attacks.

Security is more important than ever, and being aware of the consequences and how you can avoid being exposed to an attack is crucial. Following, we will give you a few tips and tricks that will provide you a more safe digital world.

First of all, it is important to create a secure password. A secure password is unique and contains both letters, digits and special characters. You should also change this regularly, this way it will be more difficult for people who are not welcome to access your account.

If you are using Capassa – You Digital CFO, you can add an extra lock to the application, meaning you need to enter your mobile code to be able to get access to the Capassa World. This is a simple measure, but it can still make a big difference.

When you are using Capassa, there is no need to worry about the security. The app is secure, and you have to use both “BankID” and 2 factor authentication to be able to use it. Also, no information is shared with any third parties without your consent.

This is only a few tips on how to secure yourself. You have probably heard some of them before – and they might seem simple but they can be very helpful. Do you have any security tips?
