It all started with one question.

It was this question that made us start Capassa.
We wanted to understand why.
Before Capassa, we worked in finance, technology, funding and company building.
We had seen how large companies made decisions with the support of finance directors, analysts and advanced systems.
At the same time we met small and medium-sized businesses where one and the same person was expected to be managing director, finance manager, sales director and strategist.
We did not think it should be that way.
We do not believe the quality of your decisions should be determined by the size of your business.
The most important thing is that everyone works from the same information. That makes the decisions better.

The journey started with a simple goal.
We wanted to make it easier for small and medium-sized businesses to make better financial decisions.
We believed bank data would give us the answers.
It did not.
Where do we find the information that really tells us how a business is doing?
We found the answer in the accounts.
They held not only the story of what had happened, but the signals that showed where the business was heading.
We built a platform that pulls data straight from the accounting systems and turns it into continuously updated decision support.
That was the beginning of Capassa.
