We haven't just launched a new website. We've clarified what we believe.

Marit Wetterhus
CEO

Over the summer we have built a new website for Capassa.
That might not sound like big news. Plenty of companies launch new websites every year. For us it was about something else entirely. It was about becoming clearer on what we actually believe.
We thought the challenge was data. We were wrong.
When we started Capassa, we believed the challenge was primarily access to data. We saw a market in flux, new possibilities, and a wish to make financial data easier to access for Norwegian businesses.
Over the years we have learned a great deal. We have worked with leaders, accountants, investors and financial institutions. We have seen how artificial intelligence has moved the boundaries of what is possible, and how expectations of the finance function have changed.
The most important lesson is that most businesses don't lack data. They lack a basis for decisions.
The accounts tell you what has happened. The CRM system shows what is happening in the sales process. The budget says something about the plan. Liquidity tells you how robust the business is. The challenge is that these answers often live in different systems, are presented at different times, and are rarely brought together into one coherent picture. That makes it hard to make good decisions, even when the information exists.
That's why Capassa looks different now
That realisation is what sits behind the new website. We didn't want to build a prettier version of the old site. We wanted to show more clearly what Capassa is actually becoming.
That's why the new site is less about features and more about challenges. Less about software and more about decisions. Less about reporting and more about insight.
Concretely, that means:
- Capa, our AI CFO, is now present across the platform, not tucked away in one corner. It helps you understand your numbers where you actually need the answers, not just in one dedicated module.
- The product pages are built around the questions you actually ask us, not around a list of features. From dashboards and forecasts to customer overview and sales insight: everything connects into one understanding of the business, not separate silos.
- We have brought the financial side and commercial insight together under one roof, because we believe decisions can rarely be made on financial figures alone, without also seeing what is happening in the market and with customers.
We don't believe tomorrow's competitive advantage lies in producing more reports. We believe it lies in helping businesses understand what they should do, while they still have the chance to act on it.
One more small thing
On the new site we have also started a dedicated blog, where we share research, our own experience from Norwegian businesses and accounting firms, and our own analysis of where the finance profession is heading. It isn't the main point of this launch, but a natural place to continue the conversation we hope the new site has already started.
We want to contribute insight that makes it easier to make better decisions. That is the most important job we can have, and it's the same job our new website is built around.
